Can anyone tell me what sort of weapon this is mentioned in this news article?

The weapon in question is the S-300 spmu series, it is a long range anti-aircraft/anti-missile weapons system made by Russia.It has a longer range then the American patriot system, and yes this weapon is very deadly to any low or high alttitude aircraft. There is also another version called the "Triumph S-400 " this too is made by Russia but it has the longest range of any anti-air missiles system in the world, i believe it has a range of 400 km, which makes air-strikes,missles strikes when this system is protecting it highly deadly.
