Is christianity these days becoming a cult? i have heard so many fake prophets these days?

it is enough to make you vomit. i do not know what to think about Christianity anymore. for eg fred phelps this twit from the US who is a pastor (from hell) said that us Aussies deserved to have that huge bushfire 2 weeks ago, sick. and then I hear so so many false prophecies regarding the last days. I am getting sick of Christianity, and besides a lot of them treat you like a sack of crap. I do not know what to believe anymore. God said Jesus is coming very soon well I am still waiting.
