Last minute sweeper tips?

i play on jv and it's our first game tonight. my stopper isn't all that dependable, and the ball gets by her a lot. i've always played flat back four (with a couple exceptions where i did play sweeper with a really good stopper, so i hardly ever touched the ball). i'm really nervous because if it gets by me, it's a breakaway. any last minute tips? we've only had practice a couple weeks and i found out i'd be starting sweeper on monday.

Have you tried BTs speed checker. You can run it for lines that are not your own. If the house is already on BT broadband and you put in the phone number then they tell you what it gets now so you can not complain you are not getting what they predict. What happens to a water filter if you run hot water through it?

I was filling a jug of water and left the water stream going slowly while i went to do other things when i came back i notice that instead of turning the cold water on i had turn the hot water on. Now is there anything wrong with the water filter? Is it damaged? I'm using a PUR sink mounted water filter. I looked up what would happen if you where to run hot water through and all it said was that it would decrease the effectiveness of the filter. Should I replace the filter?

Well you have quite a high budget which give you ALOT of room to buy and mostly new. I would have to go with a Subaru WRX STI Sedan for about 33k and it comes turbo with 305hp. And with the extra cash you saved you can easily tune the STI to get it running past 400hp easy. Plus the person who said Subaru is right. In my opinion Subaru has the most refined and advanced AWD systems on the market, due to the fact that AWD comes on ALL their models. Scratch out the Euro cars in your list due to the fact they have super high maintenance costs. The Infiniti would be a really nice car. Also look at the Cadillac CTS Coupe or Sedan, which comes with an AWD version. Which the coupe looks very sporty and luxurious at the same time.

Legalities: Signging a apartment lease while in US on J1 student visa?

My (now) Wife, rented an apartment while we were still dating and she was on her J1 student visa. The contract was for 6 months and her visa (J1) was only valid for 4 months. After we were married we finished out the contract that was under her name and moved out. Being unaware of common rental practicies, we did not realize that we had to notify them 30 days in advance that we were not renewing out contract. Personally, when the contract is up, the contract is up. I was wondering if there are legalities that I could use for possible leverage to receive our security deposit back that they are withholding due to the fact that we did not notify them 30 days prior to us leaving. Can I fit into the rides at Orlando theme parks?

You'll be fine! Disney World has large seats and can adjust the lap bars on most of the fast rides. They make sure everyone can have fun! If I can remember right, Sea World has 3 rides in Orlando, Atlantis has an adjustable lap bar and the seats are pretty wide. The other two rides should also be perfectly fine because the seats are like at Disney World and there's an adjustable lap bar. Busch Gardens have a mixture of water (raft type) rides so there's plenty of room on the rafts and roller coasters. Some of the roller coasters have the shoulder type of thing where it locks on your shoulders, but I've seen a lot of larger people go on and have a lot of fun. Aquatica is one of the funnest water parks and I think you'll be able to slide down every single slide they have. All the slides are pretty decently wide and could fit everyone. One thing you have to know if you do go to Island of Adventures Theme Park in Orlando is that Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey has a test on each penger to see if the belt buckle works. It must click 3 times and I've heard a lot of people couldn't ride because of their wideness. I don't know the maximum weight for that ride, but you should always ask a worker if you ever feel uncomfortable about going on a certain ride. Have fun on your trip!!!

Personally I am sick of hearing Peyton Manning this and Peyton Manning that. The guy is indeed a great quarterback but the Guy plays in a dome as does Drew Brees. Not to take anything away from any of them but I think other quarterbacks that play in the cold all year deserve more credit like Favre who played 16 seasons in green bay, rodgers who also plays in Green Bay and Brady who plays in Boston. I say if these guys had a dome they go 4500 yards and 35 TD's every year. I see Brees doing this every year but not Manning so why is there such great hype about this guy all the time????? And to add to the point he is not exactly the bravest QB out there. Big ben puts him to shame in that respect as do most other QB's.

I like it, but you need to rewrite it page by page, maybe even 40 times, until you get it just right. Dean Koontz, one of my favorite writers, says the secret of writing a novel is "one page at a time". He says that until he learned to make each page as perfect as he could before he moved on, he was mostly unsuccessful as a writer. That means, quite literally, rewriting and rewriting until that page is as good as you can make it, before you move on. This is a major reason why there are so few really successful writers. The dedication required is awesome and the work load is debilitating and demanding. You must have grit and nerves of steel to succeed in this brutally competitive profession, not to mention trainloads of luck.

Most puppies do have worms. The runny poo with the blood could be one sign of worms, also, if the worms are very bad you will actually see them in his poo. Personally, I really like it. I think it could be the great beginning to a song, but just as a poem it's strong and really makes a statement in a short period of time. That's tough to do, and I definitely respect you for being able to do that. But, to me, I hate when lines have really drastically different number of syllables except for the first or last line. The higher the focal ratio the higher the magnification or power of a telescope, for the "same sized" telescope. A bigger aperture telescope will usually have a lower focal ratio than a telescope with a considerably smaller aperture, this doesn't mean that it would have less magnification. Like a 10 inch aperture scope may be an f 5 and a 6 inch aperture scope may be an f 7, the 10 inch scope still has a higher magnification than the 6 inch scope , because it has a bigger diameter, you'll have a lower focal ratio.

I recommend some sort of net book. They're cheap. They can keep notes. And have a fast web browser. If you can afford an ipad I would get that! All you have to do is buy pages in the app store and your set to type all of your notes. The only thing I suggest if you get the ipad is that you get the dock keyboard or the wireless keyboard because it's faster to type that way if your keeping up with your teacher. I have an iPad and I love it!the other thing about the iPad is that you need some sort of computer to upgrade it and such. I just used my brothers once and I'm good. Good luck!

So I had emergency exploratory laparascopy surgery this past weekend because I went to the ER with abd pain. My LMP was Dec 25th. I don't know exactly how far along I am because I ovulate later than day 14. Its more like day 22. Neways I went in to the ER they said I had an ectopic pregnancy. After the surgery the dr said there was no ectopic pregnancy. THey did an ultrasound and said they could not determine the yolk sac or whatever. So neways I went to the operating room. They did not do a D&C or nething like that. So neways on sat @ 2 am my beta hcg was around 3000. I had more blood work yesterday and it was almost 5000. My dr said that he isn't going to bank anything on these numbers until friday because he has been tricked by these numbers before. So in any event I need to kno if I was going to lose my baby wouldn't the numbers be droppng after the surgery. I know that the numbers didn't double. Ohh im just so confused and I don't know what to think. I know that I have to wait until thursday for more blood work but I would just really like to know what I am dealing with here. My hubby and I REALLY want this baby. Its heartbreaking to me that we might lose it. Also my dr said that he doesn't care that they didn't see a yolk sac because its so early thats why he hates when they do the ultrasounds bc it causes so much anxiety early on. So please someone tell me what they think about this whole thing...are my chances of having this baby good or bad? I just want to be prepared...Thanks so much!!! <3

I could see paying an initial consultation fee but probate lawyers usually don't get paid until the estate is finalized and they get a portion of your cut of the estate distribution. If you don't like him fire him but I should also warn you that good lawyers are often times busy. If he has a great deal of probate law knowledge it might be worth keeping him on but that's completely up to you. If you do fire him and he has already started working on your case, you will have to pay him for the time he has spent already though. Also, probate law has many lengthy waiting periods so there is usually a lot of waiting around and stuff. It's not as fast paced as other areas of law. I was wondering if I could have a sinus infection as my nose has been feeling blocked, and have been coughing up more phlegm than usual, bit of a cough, postnasal drip, headaches and tiredness (esp around the eyes). It's hard for me to tell as I am a chronic sufferer of sinusitis. I like this guy I work with, we're friends, he broke up with his ex girlfriend about 4 months ago first he wasn't over her, so I told him I understood & I back off a bit, I went away for awhile and he started talking to me. So.. @ work once we had finished &. Yes she was troubled and had a "secret" fear of death but does that mean she had to kill herself for no other reason then to prove in the end she was not afraid to die?! Charlie Sheen was a small part of my life, starring for so long in one of my favorite sitcoms. A sitcom I'd watch nearly everyday with DVDs. And honestly I did not know that he was so much like his character, actually it's as if they based his character on him. When I skim through Y!News I always seem to find him somewhere, and it's like everyday he keeps making such big scenes and calling his former bosses idiots and what they did "juvenile" and I'm starting to wonder if anyone's actually siding with him. Why am not able to relax and be myself around new people?

I feel like I need to impress everyone around me to make them like me. There are days that I simply don't talk to anyone. I'm tired of feeling this way. It has been bugging for some time. I remember seeing online some sort of home/attraction which seemed to be in the woods. The unique thing about this home is that everything seems sideways in the home (it really isn't!) It is some sort of eye trick according to the description. I remember seeing some picture where you can see a broom balanced in the center of the hall yet the house seems sideways. Screw in my RC car will not stay in?

(this isn't really an RC problem so anyone could be ale to help me so read on!!) iv had this problem since i got the car. The screw going from the steering to the servo will not stay in its upside down and the servo obviously turns a lot so that's probably why its coming out but what could i do to stop it? iv tryed super glue and that failed and iv tryed masking tape but all that does is catch the screw when it falls out. please help me:(

i am a huge quality grub. and i want to rip my movies in handbreak, for best viewing on my iPod clic, and Computer. i personally think that the lowest qwality that still looks spacticular is origonal resolution on the dvd, animorphic, 2-p, h.264, 2000 kbps. the problem is, the ipod only alows up to 1500 kbps. and that looks kinda bad. not the worst, but still bad. i was wondering if there was anyway to make it look still really good for playback on my computer, and the ipod will read it, without redicoulous file sizes. kisses.

Guinea Pig help please?

I bought two young guinea pigs just over a week ago, they are both female. They are in a suitable hutch outside. I am getting concerned though because one of them seems to be bullying the other - she bites her alot and chases her out of the closed quarters of the hutch and then stands guard at the entrance , forcing the now intimidated piggy to spend periods of time in the main section. I thought things would settle down but it seems to be getting worse and I feel sorry for the one being pushed around (who incidentally is slightly bigger in size) so to clarify.. the smaller girl is pushing the bigger one around. They are 9 weeks and 12 weeks old. What should I do?

Idk theres sites online where you can put in your height and weight and it tells you how many calories you need to lose or maintain your weight. Although I dont see how 2500cals is gonna make you lose weight. If I were eating that many calories I would be eating cooked foods since im gonna gain it anyways. Why dont you try just eating a healthy balanced diet and since I dont know ur weight I cant give you a calorie estimate but on average to lose weight they say 1500cals for a women and 1800 for a male..on average

What is the best way to remove the residue from those old rubber stick on anti-slip mats from your tub?

The house I bought has an older tub that has the "residue" from where there were many stuck on rubber anti-slip mats on the bottom of the bath tub. The former owner removed the rubber mats, but what was left was the adhesive and the grime that clings to it. I've tried clorox, powder scrubbers and steel wool, you name it. Ok so I got out of my parents house at 18 cause i had a party addiction and much more stress including overcoming abuse, and handling getting beatin the **** out on a daily basis, as a result i put off school for two years until now im 20 and Ive decided im going to be a doctor, while the abuse has stopped I still got my self a bad reputation with drug use.(keep in mind I never used until i was constantly accused of it) Now i have to listen once again to the constant 'stay off drugs' and 'you need to always stay home' while this is driving me crazy cause its really difficult to isolate yourself from the outside world while maintaining a devotion to your studies. 4-stroke 49cc scooter Control Variable transmission help?

First I would like to let you all know i have very little intentions of changing scooters even if it is a chinese "clone" being a student I couldn't afford anything more expensive. However I recently had to replace my belt. It snapped around 3100 miles, I hear is pretty good for a stock belt. I also did a few other changes to the transmission, however. Being one who has never had any real "experience" with any mechanics, I took alot of advice from my manufacturer and my local parts dealer. I took my rear clutch down,(and my variator) he told me it had plenty of "meat" left on it, but that the torque spring was not collapsing correctly. I lubricated it with a Dry Lubricant (iron clad) and worked it until the plate rotated like I was told it was supposed to (before it only collapsed, but not as nicely and not as easily). I also had to replace my ENTIRE Variator (I used the weights it came with, which appeared to look like newer versions of my old one, just not worn out) as my variator plate guide bars (those little metal things that stick out slightly for the guides) were completely twisted and destroyed. Finally I used emery cloth (sandpaper) on the rear clutch and clutch bell (was told to do this to increase friction between the two, only scuffed it until the "Glaze/shiny parts" were gone). After doing all of this I would have imagined that my bike would run faster and accelerate more quickly, however the opposite has happened, before it used to accelerate very quickly, and would max out in the mid 40s,and hit near 9,000 RPMs now it dogs on the lower RPMS, and i'm lucky to even hit 6,500 RPMs. Can anyone yze what I did wrong? I'm aware that this is a complex problem as even my manufacturer can't figure it out, and the dealer says it's running perfectly. I KNOW this baby has more power, where did it go?
