He's getting aggressive?

a few days ago we adopted a sceond dog. our first is a female 5m and the new one is a male same age. we have had her since she was 6weeks and i guess she has just gonna use to being the only dog. we got him home and everything was going great. but she kept going up to him and taking any toy, chew... away from him and bringing it to a corner and going back for more. i kept stoping her but every time i turned my back shed do it again. he was fine with it. when we fed them that night i tryed keeping her away but she ran up and he snaped at her and started grawling. not that i blame him. now they eat in there crates. but when the cat walks by his crate he grawls and snaps. hes fine with toys and treats but food or chews he gets grawly when ever another animal come near. hes fine with humans i can put my hand in his bowl and he doest care. were gonna bring him to training but is there anything i can do now. thanks
