Help me wih my computer screen. it shrunk! and my keyboard on the other messed up!?

well, on the files and on this screen now, and even the words i see and type and the mouse, they all shrunk. it makes it to where i can see more of the webpages and stuff, but it also made the words smaller. i have tried ctrl +but it makes everything blury and my words bunch up and it is very weird. i cant do much, hit ctrl - 5 times, and thats about what i am seeing. its really annoying and i cant do half the things on the computer. heres my other issue. on my other computer, the keboard doesnt work. i dont know why, and i have restarted the computer and unplugged the keyboard and it still wont work. just too many difficulties. oh, i dont know if this is important, but on this computer, i deleted whitesmoke translator, and then it restarted my computer, and now it is shrunk. on the other, i deleted two updates for security, and i had 140 others, but i had to restart that computer, and then the keyboard doesnt work. help.
